Hours: Flexible; Between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
15-25 hours per week depending on the applicant’s schedule
Summer, up to 40 hours per week depending on the applicant’s schedule
Location: Close to campus; 3 blocks south of 30th and Dodge Street
This internship will give the qualified candidate an opportunity to obtain valuable experience and pays $10.00/hr.
Major Duties:
Assisting with the development, planning, communication, and administration of the company Wellness Program
Participating in and helping recruit for wellness programs
Serving as a member of the Company Wellness Team which includes scheduling and organizing meetings and agenda and possibly attending WELCOM (Wellness Council of the Midlands) meetings and programs
Researching and developing ideas and writing articles for quarterly Wellness newsletter
Writing wellness-related and company activity articles for weekly Company newsletter
Serving as the contact person for offsite Wellness Team members across the country
Assisting with Company activities and Human Resources projects
Minimum qualifications:
College sophomore or junior
Major in Journalism, Communication, or Health Promotion preferred
Ability to compose and write a variety of wellness communications and marketing materials
Excellent oral and written communication skills
